My Office State is an open source project and is delivered under the "General Public Licence 3", GPL3 or later.

The goal is to make My Office State a living open source project and of cause helpful, useful and liked by users.

My Office State is developed in a true open source spirit.
As a true believer of open source and availabe time for programming is limited
the programming language Python is used.
To build the graphic interface Pygtk is used.
Pydoc is used for documentation and to be able to build an own API for the project.
Installation program for Microsoft Windows is built with the open source choise NSIS.

The main reason for choosing Python is that it becomes platform independent.
It will easily be moved from one operating system to another.
Python is a programming language that I enjoy with all what it means with an
object oriented programming language and the idea with platform independence.
Python is an open source programming language which goes hand in hand with my project and my personal ideas.

The operating system used for developing is Debian.
